Event aims to manufacture relationships over breakfast

Somerset County Council is hosting a free breakfast meeting to help manufacturing businesses join forces and work closer together.

The event is designed to bring manufacturers from across Somerset together so they can network and hear from local government representatives and other members of the manufacturing community about why working in partnership is so powerful.

Somerset County Councillor David Hall will introduce the meeting before presentations by Chris Garcia of the Heart of the South West Local Enterprise Partnership, Rupert Cox from Somerset Chamber of Commerce, Nick Ames of Supacat, and Tom Egan of AgustaWestland.

There will be no hard sell – the aim is to encourage communication, create opportunities and foster engagement to help businesses grow and prosper.

All those working in the manufacturing industry are welcome to attend the breakfast being held at the Canalside in Bridgwater on Friday 5 September from 8.15am to 10.15am.
