Workshop for entrepreneurs – sign up today

Doing over deliberating – that is the advice ambitious Somerset entrepreneurs and business advisors will get if they sign up for an exciting workshop at Dillington House taking place on Friday 6 March.

The Ready! Fire! Aim! event will take place from 9am until 4pm and is a hands-on workshop which allows participants to use the latest ideas, learn from local case studies and benefit from collaboration and networking with their peers.

The workshop is funded by the Open Innovation Project as part of the EU Interreg Project and is being delivered by Innovate West on behalf of Somerset County Council. It is aimed at Somerset’s start-up businesses, established businesses that want to change direction and business advisors.

Cllr David Hall, Cabinet Member for Business, Inward Investment and Policy at Somerset County Council, said: “I’m pleased that we are able to help provide this workshop which will benefit a whole range of Somerset start-ups and established businesses, as well as business advisors. The Open Innovation project has given us the opportunity to provide some cutting-edge business support to our County’s businesses and the feedback so far has been excellent.

“Our aim is to help ensure that innovation levels in Somerset increase, which should help increase the economic prosperity of the county. I’m confident that this event will go some way towards achieving that goal.”

There is no charge to attend the event and lunch is included. Interested entrepreneurs can register to attend at www.innovatewest.wordpress.com/events-6th-march/
