3D printing at the Glass Box

The Glass Box in Taunton Library, a community space for business start-ups, innovators and digital minds, is hosting a 3D printing demonstration on Friday 28 October.

The session will focus on 3D printing in the modern world and will be hosted by Grant Mackenzie from Robox, a leading 3D printer manufacturing company based in Somerset.

The session will be from 2-5pm on Friday 28October in the Glass Box at Taunton library. Grant will start off with a talk about 3D printing, its impact on himself personally and the wider world. He will then offer some live demonstrations with a Robox 3D printer, using free CAD software available from Autodesk including Tinkercad and 123D Design as well as a number of completely free 3D modelling tools.

No booking is required. People can just turn up at the event.
