Somerset County Council’s Cabinet Member for Children and Families joins family and friends to wish A level students the best of luck when receiving their results today (Thursday 17 August).
Cllr Nicholson said: “Whilst summer can be a great time to relax and holiday for many of us, let’s not forget our students across the county who are receiving their A level results today. We are proud of the hard work and time they dedicate to their studies and appreciate that the grades they get today can be the key to realising the next chapter of their life.”
“Let’s also remind ourselves that sometimes our education or career paths are not always how we imagined them. So if any student needs further support today for results that may have just missed the mark, please encourage them to reach out to their school or college to discuss all their options. There is lots of great support and advice available.
“I give my best wishes for the future to each and every one of these young people.”
